This is a Horn Coral fossil from northern Thailand. It is shaped like a tooth. It was possibly polished.
Horn Coral is scientifically know as Rugosa Rose or just Rugosa. They are an extinct coral that existed in the Ordovician era (500 million years ago) to late Permian period (250 million years ago). It is thought they may have had stinging cells and tentacles to help them capture prey thus they are refereed to as microcarnivors.
